Thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds hit the Czech Republic on June 23. These climatic phenomena resulted in the accident of the line of the transmission system of the Czech Republic with a voltage level of 400 kV connecting the Temelín power station with the Kočín transformer station. The line accident in the 1,170 m long section consisted of the destruction of three support masts, damage to conductors, grounding cables and equipment on the masts.
